Did anyone else notice that the opening shot of The Dark Knight is the same as the aerial tracking shot that opens Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho?
Yeah, for me it's definitely North by Northwest. At least as far as his American films go. You should check out some of the stuff he made before he came to the U.S.
