Here we occasionally talk music, movies, politics, religion, society, culture. Things can get a bit dodgy (especially when The Pikey chimes in).
You've been warned. Read on at your own risk...
I realise this is a tad early but I won't have access to the internet for the next two days as die Frau and I will be at the Missouri Music Educators Association's annual conference in beautiful Osage Beach, Mo. Oh. Well It's not that great this time of year but it's a great time. The HS chamber choir die Frau accompanies is performing Friday morning so wish 'em luck. There are also 4 groups performing associated with schools where I earned my degrees so that'll be fun, too. Hopefully I'll have pictures to post later.

At least it means we get free coffee this morning. 250 years... where has the time gone? Oh yeah--putting humanity into music.
That is, until Babbitt took it back out of music.
Thanks for ruining it for the rest of us.
Did anyone do anything nice for Mozart's birthday?
I had to endure a crowd of music educators sing "Happy Birthday" to him.
Ugh.
